Looking to hold a fundraiser to support Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation? We would love to work with you and look forward to hearing from you! Submit your event information below for approval. Questions? Contact Maria Clarage at 214.818.1628 or Maria.Clarage@BSWHhealth.org.
Who participates in Third-Party Fundraising Events?Anyone! Get creative with your event. It can take place at work, at home, outdoors or anywhere you can think of that will get your community involved. We just ask that donations be voluntary – not predicated on the sale or purchase of commercial goods or services.
When can I have a Third-Party Fundraising Event? You can host your event anytime you like! Not only do you get to choose the date of the event but also the length. You can host a one day event or a month long fundraiser. It is all up to you.
How will the funds be used? For more than 100 years, Baylor Scott & White Health has been serving the community through exemplary health care, education, research and community service. Through the continued support of donors like you, we continue to fund programs that give patients access to advanced technology, clinical trials and promising treatments. Visit our Areas of Need page to find out about the variety of areas available to designate your donations.
Is my donation tax-deductible?Yes. This gift is tax-deductible within the limits imposed by law. Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation also acknowledges that it provided no goods or services to you in consideration, in whole or in part, of your gift.
If a business donates items (like food or auction items) for my event, can I get a tax receipt for that donation?Sponsors, underwriters, attendees and participants must make their payment of the event fee directly to you, as the individual or organization conducting the event. You cannot offer sponsors, underwriters, participants or attendees the option of writing their checks for the event fee directly to Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation for tax receipt. Event fees are not tax deductible and will not be receipted by the Foundation. The event organizer may not make any statement or take any action which would imply that event fees or sponsorship payments are tax-deductible.
What do I do with the offline donations I collect for my event?Once you have collected all of your donations, you can mail us a check or deliver the funds in person to: Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation301 N. Washington Ave.Dallas, TX 75246
How do I know if my mailed donation has been received? The Foundation sends gift acknowledgements/tax receipts to the name/address as it appears on the donation check/money order. Donors should receive these acknowledgements through the mail four to six weeks after the check has been deposited.
Can the Foundation donate any wristbands or giveaways for my fundraising event?Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, raises and manages charitable funds to support Baylor Scott & White Health – North Texas and its charitable affiliates. Because of this, we are not able to donate items for personal fundraising efforts. However, people who register a third-party fundraising event receive a variety of marketing support materials.
Can I use the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation logo on my event materials?Registered third-party event coordinators are licensed to use the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation logo on event signage. Once we have received your signed registration form and suggested use of the logo, we will review and grant access.
