The Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation team strives to serve donors in their philanthropic efforts to help Baylor achieve its mission to serve all people through exemplary health care, education, research and community service.
PresidentAs president of Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, Ben Renberg is responsible for cultivating long-term and trusted relationships with existing donors, as well as generating support from new constituencies. In addition, he works collaboratively to develop the Foundation’s multi-year strategic plan to focus and accelerate the role of philanthropy at Baylor Scott & White Health across North Texas. Ben developed a depth of understanding and knowledge of fundraising in his various roles with Baylor University, Baylor College of Medicine, Rice University and most recently, Cornell University, as well as additional experience as a partner with Dini Partners, a consulting firm specializing in services to nonprofit organizations.
Ben earned both his bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Baylor University, where his son and daughter currently attend school. He and his wife, April, live in North Dallas.
Vice President, Donor Engagement & ExperienceSarah Cantu is vice president of donor engagement and experience for the Foundation, where she leads initiatives that engage donors in meaningful ways through philanthropic campaigns, grateful patient programming, events, stewardship and storytelling. Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White, Sarah held various roles at the American Heart Association, Sharp HealthCare Foundation and CitySquare. Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and her MBA from the University of Colorado. She and her husband, Victor, have three children.
Vice President, DevelopmentChristina Goodman is vice president of development for the Foundation, whose primary areas of responsibility include oncology and research initiatives, along with radiology. Since joining the Foundation in January 2014, Christina has helped raise more than $25M through our annual fundraising campaigns. She came to the Foundation from ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she focused on raising philanthropic funds for pediatric cancer. Christina earned her bachelors of business administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Christina and her husband, Travis, are the proud parents of three children.
Vice President, FinanceBefore coming to the Foundation, Amy spent 12 years in public accounting, working in a variety of industries but focusing primarily on health care and consumer products. Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting at Oklahoma State University and a master’s in business administration from Baylor University. She and her husband, Jim, have two children.
Director, DevelopmentLynn Bohne is a development director for the Foundation whose primary areas of responsibility include Heart & Vascular at BHVH & The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, Orthopedics, Neuroscience/Memory Center and the following community hospitals; McKinney, Frisco/Centennial and Plano. In March 2017, she joined the Foundation after seven years of higher education fundraising, where she was a part of a billion dollar campaign. Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations from The University of Texas.
Senior Director, Foundation Relations and Gift PlanningCraig Foster is Senior Director of Foundation Relations and Gift Planning, working with donors who are interested in supporting the Foundation through estate gifts like bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, insurance policies and retirement plans. In December 2013, he joined the Foundation after working in marketing and development in pediatric healthcare. Craig received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Mississippi State University and his master’s in business administration from The University of Texas at Dallas. He and his wife, Meredith, have three children.
Manager, GrantsTiesha Henderson is responsible for securing grants from private foundations and corporations in collaboration with senior director Amy Monday. She also oversees stewardship and reporting for grants the Foundation has received. She came to the Foundation after a decade of working with not-for-profits in the Dallas area, including The Salvation Army, UT Southwestern Medical Center, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and Vogel Alcove. Tiesha has also secured and managed millions of dollars in federal funding for first responders from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, Port Security, and the Department of Justice’s Body-Worn Camera initiative. A daughter of Oak Cliff, Tiesha graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia.
Director of DevelopmentCasey Hogan serves as director of development on the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation team. Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White, he served as the associate athletic director for Development at The University of Texas at El Paso and senior associate athletic director for external operations at Tarleton State University. While at Tarleton, Casey led negotiations with a university sponsor that resulted in a six-year partnership agreement, the largest in university history, and cultivated a relationship with an individual who became the largest donor in the history of the athletic department. Prior to Tarleton, Casey served as legislative director, legislative assistant and executive assistant in the United States House of Representatives. Casey received his bachelor’s and master of science degrees from Tarleton, where he served two terms as student body president. Casey and his wife Alexis have two children, Cayson and Leighton.
Senior Director, GrantsAmy Monday is responsible for securing grants from private foundations and corporations. She is also responsible for initiatives related to Baylor’s Community Care Clinics, the Diabetes Health and Wellness Institute and the Institute for Health Care Research and Improvement. She came to the Foundation from the University of North Texas, where she worked for 11 years in the Office of Advancement. As director of corporate and foundation relations at UNT, she developed strategies to secure philanthropic grant funding for the university and provided grant writing oversight. Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from the University of Florida.
Senior Director, DevelopmentTim Moore serves as Sr. Director, Development on the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation team. During his time with the organization, his efforts have primarily focused on garnering major gift support in the areas of neurosciences and oncology, including support of our breast cancer service line. Tim was the lead fundraiser for a $25 million campaign for the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, a free “home-away-from-home” on the Baylor Dallas campus for oncology patients who live more than 40 miles away. Prior to that, Tim served as Development Director on the National Major Gifts team at Southern Methodist University, where he managed the strategic planning and execution of their Second Century Campaign for the Eastern portion of the United States. Tim also spent two years in a principal giving role at Children's Medical Center Foundation--Dallas, during which time he helped secure the largest gift in the history of Children’s Medical Center Plano for their hospital expansion campaign.
