Celebrating Women Impact

Over the last 23 years, Celebrating Women has raised more than $38 million to help care for the more than 20,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year in Texas.

This commitment from generous donors in our community has continued to advance the fight against breast cancer and allowed Baylor Scott & White Health to:

  • Expand our High-Risk Breast Screening Program, which helps identify women who were at high-risk for developing this disease but unaware;
  • Provide mammograms and other breast cancer services for patients unable to afford this care;
  • Support patient navigators, who play a crucial role in the patient’s journey by identifying and resolving barriers, answering questions and offering support; and
  • Create a new Hope Lodge patient navigator to serve as a resource for the more than 2,500 patients and caregivers who stay at Hope Lodge each year while traveling to receive cancer treatments at Baylor Scott & White.
