Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation has promoted Christina Goodman to vice president of development—a role that will focus on major and planned gift-giving, annual and multiyear fundraising and donor engagement. She will also continue to lead oncology fundraising efforts and contribute to the Systemwide philanthropic strategy for this critical service line.
“I believe in the power of philanthropy to accelerate impact,” said Christina. “I’m excited to continue working with a dedicated team, generous donors and engaged community members who share this belief and commitment to advance care for North Texas.”
Christina is a respected partner within the Foundation and the Dallas community, and since joining the Foundation in 2014, she has established herself as a proven leader. She has led numerous Foundation and Baylor Scott & White initiatives, including revamping the annual Give to Change campaign, which has raised more than $26 million from Baylor Scott & White employees and board members since 2019. Additionally, she oversaw the underwriting strategy for the Foundation’s annual Celebrating Women effort. Under her leadership, this campaign has advanced important initiatives that support women and families battling breast cancer, including the launch of the High-Risk Breast Screening Program.
She also helped oversee the expansion of the Employees 1st Emergency Assistance Fund during the pandemic, which resulted in more than $5.4 million raised to support nearly 3,500 Baylor Scott & White colleagues. “Christina’s passion for philanthropy and deep connections within the DFW
community will position us well for the future,” shared Ben Renberg, Foundation president. “I look forward to her partnership as we work together to advance our Mission.”
