Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco at PGA Parkway offers important access to connected care fueled by philanthropic support.
A vision for healthier communities, brought to life
Ryan Gebhart can’t help but smile as people walk through the doors of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco at PGA Parkway. Opened in July, the hospital stands at the heart of Collin County’s expanding community.
“It’s deeply rewarding to open our doors to a place where every detail of the patient experience—from the design of our spaces to the services we offer—has been thoughtfully created to support the health and well-being of those we are honored to serve,” said Ryan, the president of the newest hospital in the Baylor Scott & White Health system.
Philanthropy powers progress at PGA Parkway
This vision didn’t come to life on planning alone. It is powered by philanthropy. Individuals, families and organizations believe that quality healthcare is vital for strong communities. PACCAR was an early supporter, and more recently, NDBT, a North Texas banking leader since 1961, invested $500,000 to help bring the medical center to life.
“Supporting Baylor Scott & White gave us the opportunity to invest in something that will serve families in our communities for generations,” said Jay Henry, market president of NDBT. “Promoting healthier lives, supporting local schools and businesses, and fostering a sense of security and dignity aligns with NDBT’s values and reinforces why we chose to be involved.”

Ryan expressed gratitude for the community’s support. “Baylor Scott & White – Frisco at PGA Parkway is more than a beautiful facility; it’s a commitment to meet the needs of today while laying the foundation for a healthier tomorrow,” he said. “Extraordinary things happen when people come together around a shared vision and choose to invest in this generation and the next.”
Inside the hospital: designed for healing and connection
The 340,000-square-foot medical center includes 84 inpatient beds, full emergency care, surgical suites, and advanced diagnostic and robotic technologies. The Center for Women and Infants, a dedicated floor, offers spacious labor and delivery suites, postpartum rooms and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Beyond the clinical spaces, the hospital has been thoughtfully designed to promote wellness, connection and reflection. Outdoor green spaces, walking paths and a children’s play area encourage movement and community gathering. Inside, a one-of-a-kind Gibson guitar wall—complete with QR codes that link to curated playlists—invites visitors into a multisensory experience that fosters calm and inspiration.
NDBT leads the way in community investment

“Supporting quality healthcare is one of the most impactful ways a business can live out its values and demonstrate a commitment to community,” Jay said. “We hope others will step forward with purpose and join us in this meaningful work.”
An invitation to join the mission
“Each gift we’ve received is more than a donation. It’s a reflection of trust, community spirit and a shared vision for a healthier future,” Ryan said. “We’re honored to carry that vision forward as we care for families across North Texas.”
