Sarah Cantu named VP, donor engagement and experience

Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation is excited to announce Sarah Cantu has joined the team as vice president of donor engagement and experience. In this role, Sarah will lead a comprehensive strategy that deepens engagement and inspires giving through campaigns, grateful giving programming, events, stewardship and storytelling.

“It is a blessing to be back in Texas, continuing to work in healthcare philanthropy to benefit a community that has always felt like home,” said Sarah. “I’m honored to work with an incredible team, dedicated community leaders and generous donors to build sustainable and impactful programs that inspire philanthropy, support our bold vision and impact the health of our community for generations to come.”

Passionate about the role philanthropy plays in accelerating impact, Sarah has dedicated nearly two decades to advancing the missions of not-for-profit organizations and previously served in leadership roles at the American Heart Association, Sharp HealthCare Foundation and CitySquare.

“Sarah has demonstrated success in building key relationships, developing multiyear campaign strategies and leading high-performing teams,” said Ben Renberg, Foundation president. “Her wealth of experience will be invaluable as she leads our full-circle, intentional approach to engaging donors and connecting them with opportunities to make meaningful philanthropic investments at Baylor Scott & White.”

Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and her MBA from the University of Colorado. She and her husband, Victor, have three children.
