Getting to Know Nick Reddy
Can you point to a life experience that shaped the way you think?
My dad got really sick when I was young, and through that experience, I realized how fragile life is and howlife has an expiration date. I think about this constantly, and try to live
to the fullest, because you never know about tomorrow.
Tell us about your family.
As Winston Churchill once said, “My most brilliant achievement was my ability to be able to persuade my wife to marry me.” For sure this is also true for me, I have been married to my wife Anusha for 11 years and we have two boys, Luv (4) and Kush (2).
What accomplishments/milestones have your children reached so far that you are proud of?
I asked my 4-year-old if he was hungry, and he said, “Perhaps.” I would argue that
is a complex answer for a 4-year-old! Then I asked him, “Do you know what perhaps means?” And he looked at me and said, “You are hurting my feelings.”
What makes you laugh the most?
Professional comedians (late night shows, stand-up comedy, etc.). I love the way they take life’s truths and deliver them in a way that makes them funny.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Military history. I took this class at Texas A&M and it’s fascinating how strategic, courageous and disciplined our armed forces are and, frankly, always have been for centuries.
What digital innovation makes your life easier?
I love the ability to book things online, from airplane tickets and hotel stays to restaurant reservations, haircuts and more.

It has the ability to truly solve things which have eluded the industry for a long time—convenience, simplicity, affordability and personalization. It can make healthcare the way it should be.
