Mike Sanborn, FACHE, FASHP

Chief Growth Officer
Baylor Scott & White Health

As chief growth officer, Mike Sanborn is shaping a more connected system of care, guiding initiatives that expand access points and deliver customer-centered solutions. His prior leadership roles in hospitals and pharmacy services inspire innovations that enhance convenience, safety and overall health.

Sanborn is known for cultivating partnerships and expansion strategies that strengthen connections with customers and communities. He has advanced collaborations that expanded urgent care locations across Texas, creating more convenient options for same-day care. He has also guided efforts to broaden access to behavioral health services, ensuring customers can connect quickly to both in-person and virtual mental health support. In addition to his system-wide responsibilities for growth, Sanborn also oversees joint venture partnerships and the pharmacy enterprise.

He has served in multiple leadership roles across the organization, including president of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White – Carrollton. In Fort Worth, he developed an affiliation with the TCU School of Medicine and later a medical residency program that currently trains over 180 residents and fellows. Earlier in his career, he served as corporate vice president for cardiovascular services and held various pharmacy leadership positions.

A fellow of both American College of Healthcare Executives and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Sanborn received a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy and a Master of Science degree in pharmacy administration from the University of Kansas.

Baylor Scott & White Health is the largest not-for-profit health system in the state of Texas. It includes 53 hospitals, more than 1,300 access points, a health plan, a research institute, and an accountable care organization, plus Levanto—a company offering digitally enabled health solutions—and 3 million customers connected through MyBSWHealth.
