Philanthropy plays a vital role in advancing care, supporting patients and strengthening communities across Baylor Scott & White Health. This work depends on thoughtful, mission-driven leadership—qualities that define Craig Foster.
In March 2026, Craig was named vice president of development at Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, where he will help lead fundraising strategy and support a team dedicated to connecting donors with meaningful opportunities to make a difference. Following a thoughtful and comprehensive search that included an exceptional group of internal and external candidates, Craig stood out for the way he builds deep relationships and advances philanthropic work.
Over more than 12 years with the Foundation—and 15 years in healthcare philanthropy across North Texas—he has earned the trust of donors and colleagues alike, helping translate generosity into lasting impact for patients and communities.
Craig has partnered with generous donors to inspire transformational gifts that are advancing care across Baylor Scott & White. He has walked alongside families as they make thoughtful decisions about their legacy, helping them create plans that reflect their values and make a lasting difference.
Through this work, Craig has helped strengthen the Foundation’s approach to gift planning, foundation partnerships and stewardship—ensuring donors feel connected to the impact of their giving.
Most recently, he has led these areas while continuing to personally engage with donors, mentor a high-performing team and collaborate closely with development officers to bring meaningful opportunities to life.

His leadership is grounded in experience and perspective. Craig’s connection to Baylor Scott & White is deeply personal.
He has celebrated the birth of his three children here, supported loved ones at the end of life and navigated his own journey as an oncology patient at Baylor University Medical Center. His experience shapes the way he approaches his work, with empathy, gratitude and a clear understanding of what philanthropy makes possible.
“Craig stood out not only for his breadth of experience and results, but for the way he leads—with integrity, strategic insight and a deep commitment to our Mission,” said Christina Goodman, president of Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation.
In addition to his work at the Foundation, Craig invests in the broader philanthropic community, teaching in the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy program and serving on the board of the Dallas Council of Charitable Gift Planners. He holds an MBA and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
Looking ahead, Craig is focused on supporting the Foundation’s continued growth and impact. “It is my honor to work with our supporters to ensure that type of care extends and improves the communities we serve,” he said.
With Craig’s leadership, the Foundation is poised to build on its momentum and deepen its impact for patients and families across North Texas.
