Celebrating Women Plans for In-Person Return This Fall

As North Texas begins to slowly open back up, there is renewed optimism over plans to gather together to advance the fight against breast cancer. The 22nd annual Celebrating Women luncheon is currently scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
With the anticipation of celebrating in person again this year, there is also excitement about this year’s leadership. Marybeth Conlon and Elizabeth Gambrell have graciously agreed to serve as luncheon co-chairs alongside Amy Hegi and Libby Hegi, underwriting co-chairs.

We are also thrilled to recognize our 2021 honorary chairs: Gene Jones, Charlotte Jones, Karen Jones and Lori Jones. Their generous support of the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation Hope Lodge facility in Dallas will provide cancer patients and caregivers with free lodging when these patients travel to the Dallas area for care. Scheduled to open in the coming months, this
facility will be an important resource on the Baylor Scott & White Health campus to support breast cancer patients, emotionally, physically and financially, so they can focus on getting better
and back home to their loved ones.

Over the last 21 years, Celebrating Women has raised over $36 million to support patients and families battling this disease in North Texas.
