In the midst of the extraordinary challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, Baylor Scott & White Health remains committed to safe, quality care while helping Texas communities navigate the uncertainty of this virus.
This commitment to safety and quality was recognized recently as U.S. News & World Report released its 2020–2021 Best Hospitals list. Baylor University Medical Center was recognized on the Best Hospitals list for the 28th consecutive year and was ranked as the #2 hospital in DFW and the #4 hospital in Texas. Additionally, Baylor Scott & White is once again the most awarded not-for-profit health system in Texas, with 16 medical centers rated.
“This recognition is an extraordinary achievement, reflective of our team’s unwavering commitment, faithful service, compassion and relentless focus on safely caring for those who need us now more than ever,” said Jim Hinton, chief executive officer, Baylor Scott & White.
Now in its 31st year, the list helps patients and caregivers find the best medical centers for themselves and their families by scoring hospitals based on several factors, including survival, patient safety, nurse staffing and more.
