Leading the way in cardiovascular care

From heart disease prevention to advanced heart failure therapies, Baylor Scott & White Health offers a full continuum of cardiovascular services throughout North Texas—anchored by our nationally recognized specialty heart hospitals. In addition, we deliver comprehensive cardiac care at multiple hospitals and more than 100 outpatient clinics across North and Central Texas.

Many of these locations have received national accolades for the quality and safety of our cardiovascular care from U.S. News & World Report, The Joint Commission, American College of Surgeons, The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and other leading organizations—affirming our commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered innovation.

A tradition of innovation and excellence

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., and Baylor Scott & White is at the forefront of changing that reality. Our heart hospitals serve as hubs for advanced diagnostics, minimally invasive interventions, and pioneering treatment protocols—giving patients access to the latest breakthroughs in heart and vascular care.

From early detection and prevention to surgical intervention and rehabilitation, our teams are reshaping what’s possible in cardiovascular medicine. This work is driven by a robust commitment to research and education, helping us translate scientific discovery into meaningful progress for patients today—and tomorrow.

Why philanthropy matters

Despite advancements in heart care, major challenges remain. Cardiovascular diseases are often complex, requiring individualized treatment plans, lifelong management, and continuous innovation. Research is essential to improve outcomes, discover new therapies, and reduce disparities in care. At the same time, training the next generation of heart specialists is critical to meeting the growing need for expert cardiovascular care across our communities.

Your philanthropic investment fuels this progress. It powers research that accelerates discovery and drives clinical trials. It supports graduate medical education that equips fellows and future cardiologists with the skills to deliver exceptional care. And it helps us explore new frontiers in cardiovascular science with compassion, integrity and excellence.

Your gift: Advancing heart health for generations to come

When you support cardiovascular research and education at Baylor Scott & White Health, you help us transform lives—one heartbeat at a time. Together, we can propel the next generation of innovation in cardiovascular care, train tomorrow’s specialists, and create a healthier future for all.
