Leadership at transition Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation
Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation announced a leadership transition as President Ben Renberg steps down from his role on Friday, June 13, 2025, to begin a new chapter closer to his family in Houston.
“Since joining the Foundation in 2021, Ben has played a key role in advancing philanthropic priorities across Baylor Scott & White Health,” said Kristi Sherrill Hoyl, chief philanthropy officer at Baylor Scott & White. “His strategic leadership, relationship-building and deep commitment to our Mission have contributed to meaningful progress—work that will continue thanks to the strong team and partnerships he helped shape and strengthen.”
As the Foundation begins the search for its next president, Christina Goodman, vice president of development, will serve as interim president. A trusted and respected leader, Christina has been an integral part of the Foundation team for over 11 years. Her leadership has helped raise more than $50 million to support high-impact initiatives, including the Give to Change employee giving campaign, the annual Celebrating Women Luncheon and the launch of the Texas Cancer Interception Institute.
“Christina brings a deep understanding of our work, a strong presence in the community and a steadfast commitment to our Mission,” Kristi said. “The Foundation is in incredibly capable hands as we navigate this transition.”
As Christina steps into this interim role, she builds upon a strong foundation shaped by Ben’s leadership—one that positions the Foundation for continued success and strengthens Baylor Scott & White’s ability to serve patients and communities across North Texas.
“As I look ahead, I do so with deep gratitude—for your trust, your partnership and your unwavering belief in the power of philanthropy,” Ben shared in his message to supporters. “Thank you for making this journey so meaningful for me and for the many lives your support has touched.”
